Audience: University of Toronto graduate students and researchers engaged in knowledge synthesis research. Registrants MUST be currently affiliated with the University of Toronto.

By the end of Part 1 of this workshop series, participants will be able to:
- Practice using an objective, structured method for developing sensitive search strategies required for knowledge synthesis
- Use text-mining and generative AI tools to assist with search strategy development
- Create advanced search strategies in Ovid Medline
- Articulate how the quality of a search affects the quality of a review as a whole
- Identify potential sources of bias in a search and implement strategies for mitigating them
