EndNote Level I: Introduction for Beginners In-Person
In this introductory hands-on workshop, you will gain an overview of Endnote X9, a desktop citation management tool that allows you to download and store your references from the wealth of the library’s resources, and “automatically” insert them into your paper.

Who can register?: Open to all current U of T students, faculty, or staff.
What's Covered:
- Import references from health science databases (e.g. Medline, PubMed), websites, and Google Scholar
- Create a bibliography in APA, MLA, Vancouver, or other citation styles
- Create in-text citations in Microsoft Word using Cite While You Write
- Organize and share your references
What’s required – technical specifications:
This session will be demonstrated on lab computers with EndNote X9 Desktop installed on it already.
All demonstrations will be performed on a PC, using the Firefox browser. To download Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox
