Pop-Up Cinematheque Season 2: Calling the Shots (1988) on 16mm! In-Person
POP-UP CINEMATHEQUE is back for a second season! The Cinema Studies Institute and Media Commons Archives present a film screening series highlighting rare films from our collections. Each screening features an introductory talk discussing the unique aspects of the film and its archival status.
Don't miss our second screening, CALLING THE SHOTS (1988) directed by Janis Cole and Holly Dale, on Monday, November 17, 2025! The film screens on 16mm and features an introduction by Rachel E. Beattie and a special guest for the introduction and q&a.
Screenings take place on Mondays at 6:30pm in the Media Commons Theatre (RM 3025), on the third floor of Robarts Library, 130 St. George Street, Toronto ON.
All screenings are free but registration is required.
Screenings open for registration two weeks before the screening date.
