Digital Storytelling with ArcGIS Online and Storymaps In-Person / Online
This workshop provides a quick start to get you up and running using Esri's ArcGIS Online platform to create and share spatially aware, web-based digital narratives.
First, you'll gain familiarity with the web mapping functionality of ArcGIS Online by creating an interactive web map using open data. Then we'll take a look at how this web map can be combined with other multimedia elements to create a visually compelling, informative Story Map. In this way, you'll learn how to effectively share your research using geographic data and digital storytelling.
Introductory level; no previous experience with coding, statistical analysis, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is required.
