Author Identity and Research Impact: Getting Published 103 Online

What: Learn how to manage your author identity through tools like ORCID and consistent name usage  which can boost the visibility and impact of your research. You'll also explore key metrics used to measure research impact, such as h-index, and more. 

Why: This workshop will help you understand how your work is being recognized and how to strengthen your scholarly presence. 

Who: This workshop is for those with little or no experience in publishing: graduate students, post docs, researchers, undergraduate students, faculty.  The examples given will be from science and health science journals but will be applicable to other disciplines. 

When: Wed Nov 12, 2025  from 12 – 1 pm 

Where: Online via Zoom (link to be provided upon registration) 

How: This is a 45 minute online workshop consisting of short lectures and examples. You can watch and ask questions.
