ArcGIS Online: An Introduction In-Person

This session occurs at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus and is part of the Digital Scholarship @UTSC Series.

Come discover, analyze and learn the basics of online mapping and GIS. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to accessing, manipulating, and visualizing data using the GIS platform, ArcGIS Online.

This workshop is intended as a gentle introduction to GIS. No prior experience with GIS or ArcGIS is required. The content is aimed at the novice user who is curious about how to use GIS software for their course assignments and research.

If you are affiliated with the St. George or UTM campus please complete the lab visitor access request webform prior to the session so that you will be able to use the computers in the lab. Alternatively, you may wish to bring your own computer.
