Mural Launch: In Conversation with Elicser Elliott and Tony Gebrihewot In-Person
This event is a celebration of the installation of “Elicser” Elliott's commissioned paintings into the newly renovated student lounge at the UTSC Library. This installation has been made possible through a strong partnership between the UTSC Library, the Doris McCarthy Gallery, and the Artist. “Elicser” Elliott and Anthony Gebrehiwot will discuss how their practices both intersect with the notion of home and community building, and how art can transform spaces into ones of comfort and belonging.
Snacks will be served.
