Preparing your Course Materials: Copyright and Fair Dealing Fundamentals In-Person
Location: Robarts Electronic Classromm (Room 4033, 4th Floor)
This workshop will help faculty and instructors better understand copyright law, fair dealing, and University of Toronto policies with respect to course materials for instruction.
Librarians from The Scholarly Communications & Copyright Office will introduce the University of Toronto's Fair Dealing Guidelines, and elaborate on the support that the University of Toronto Libraries offers, such as the Syllabus Service, to assist faculty with making course readings available to students in a copyright-compliant manner.
This workshop will consist of a 30-minute presentation and ample time for questions.
