Developing for Virtual Reality In-Person

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to build webVR applications using Mozilla’s A-Frame web framework. A-Frame is built on top of HTML and employs Javascript to create webVR applications that run in a browser. The workshop covers the basics of A-Frame from creating simple virtual reality scenes to integrating 3D models and responding to user interactions. It also covers how to use the Glitch.me website to host the webVR applications you create.

While aimed at beginners, familiarity with HTML and basic Javascript is strongly recommended.

Should you fail to withdraw 48+ hours in advance, thereby preventing your colleagues on the waitlist from filling in your spot, your library account will be charged $10 per missed workshop.  Please note, it is your responsibility to sign next to your name on the attendance sheet for each workshop session.  A blank signature spot will result in a penalty charge.
