Introduction to Data Management and Statistical Analysis with SPSS In-Person

Information professionals regularly work with data, whether you are supporting users, assessing library programs and services, or conducting your own research. This workshop provides an introduction to using SPSS to perform common data management and basic statistical analysis tasks.

Participants will work through hands-on exercises in SPSS, and will learn to import spreadsheets, manage and edit data, create charts and other visualizations, and run descriptive statistical tests.

Note: this workshop will not cover advanced statistical concepts, but participants will be provided with suggested resources for additional skills development.

Should you fail to withdraw 48+ hours in advance, thereby preventing your colleagues on the waitlist from filling in your spot, your library account will be charged $10 per missed workshop. Please note, it is your responsibility to sign next to your name on the attendance sheet for each workshop session. A blank signature spot will result in a penalty charge.
