General Small Business Tax Literacy Seminar In-Person

This seminar is offered to owners of small businesses and self-employed individuals who need help in understanding their tax obligations. The presentation is geared towards unincorporated businesses and will provide participants with the basic principles and resources needed to navigate the tax system.

When: Entrepreneurship Week at U of T! Wednesday, March 20, 9 - 10:30 a.m.
Where: ONRamp, first floor, Banting Institute, 100 College St. Toronto

Facilitator bios:

Nathaniel Momongan is a Liaison Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency. He joined the agency in 2008 and has been a part of the Income Tax Audit Division since 2014. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Ryerson University.

Mithilah Mahendran is a Liaison Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency. She joined the agency in 2015 and became a part of the Income Tax Audit Division in 2018. Mithilah holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from York University, and a Diploma in Accounting from Seneca College.

Please note: Workshops with four or fewer attendees will be canceled.  All workshop are free and registration is required. However, if you cannot attend a workshop, and fail to withdraw 48+ hours in advance, thereby preventing others on the waitlist from filling in your spot, your library account will be charged $10 per missed workshop.
