iOS App Development - Practical Essentials
In this workshop you will start building your first native iOS app. The workshop will cover practical considerations for app development including app architecture, cloud synchronization, UI & layout, and more. The idea is to set up a simple platform that you can use for further independent experimentation and prototyping. The Swift code needed to complete the workshop project will be provided.
-UIKit and Storyboards
-Cloud synchronization (Vendor TBD)
-Debugging with Xcode
Please bring a laptop with the latest version of Xcode installed (free on the Mac App Store). We have several MacBooks available for loan for the workshop. It’s optional to bring an iOS device for running your project (it will run in a simulator if you don’t have an iOS device.)
