In this session, Alex Jung, Open Technology Specialist will provide training for those interested in editing Wikipedia, with a focus on those interested in participating or helping with our February Black History Month Wikipedia-Edit-a-Thon!

What we’ll cover:

- Overview and technicalities - making an account - anatomy of a Wikipedia article - navigating Wikipedia (categories, sidebars, Wikiprojects)

- common types of edits and how to do them: linking, citing, adding categories/templates.

Zoom link will be sent to registrants.
