HIS245 Library Research Workshop (March 9th) Online

This library instruction session is designed to assist you with research for your HIS245 final paper (worth 40%). Specifically, the workshop will provide:

  • An overview of the University of Toronto Libraries' new search system called LibrarySearch
  • An introduction to formulating a search strategy to find the best articles and books on your topic
  • A brief introduction to finding online primary sources related to your topic
  • A hands-on activity so you can practice searching for scholarly articles
  • A chance to meet one-on-one with the librarian to discuss your HIS245 research following the 1-hour session

The workshop takes place online via Zoom. Information about joining the event will be sent upon registration.
