Remote Instruction Bootcamp II - A three day series

Inclusive teaching is a key factor in helping students to develop a sense of community; that is a sense of belonging and interactivity. An important component of inclusive teaching is active learning strategies because they provide multiple opportunities of engagement to reach all students. In this workshop, participants will review various active learning strategies that can support inclusive teaching in an online environment.

Series Description: The second iteration of the Remote Instruction Bootcamp will help participants further develop skills in numerous areas related to online learning. Please join our colleagues from UTSC Library, UTSC's Center for Teaching and Learning, and as well as the Centre for Teaching Support and Innovation for five distinct training sessions include introductions to: - Pedagogical Affordances of OBS & OpenShot -  Intro to OBS and OpenShot - Creating OERs with H5P - Inclusive Teaching through Active Learning - Intro to Universal Design for Learning
