Finding Work in Archives and Records Management Online
This workshop will provide an overview of archives and records management workplaces, positions, and the current climate of the ARM job market.
By the end of this workshop, attendees will have learned:
- where to look for a job
- how to network and get experience
- how to write effective resumes and cover letters
- how to prepare for an interview and what to expect when interviewing for different positions
- how to negotiate job offers, and advocate for yourself in precarious/contract work situations
