Digital Humanities Tools: Digital Scholar Lab

Digital Humanities Tools: Digital Scholar Lab Online

This workshop introduces the Gale Digital Scholar Lab, a platform that allows users to discover and create collections of digitized texts from the Gale Historical Collections, run a variety of statistical analyses on them, and visualize the resulting data. You can upload your own texts, and export data and images after completing your analysis. Additionally, the Digital Scholar Lab is beginner-friendly and runs entirely in your browser, no installation or coding needed. Participants will learn how to use the Digital Scholar Lab and get an overview of text mining through a combination of a lecture and a demonstration.

No prior experience required. Attendees must have a Gmail address.
