Zotero: Introducing Citation and Reference Management Tools Online
Citation management software helps you organize references, take notes on references, format bibliographies and autogenerate in-text citations in several citations styles. If you need to manage large numbers of references and citations as part of your research, teaching or administrative work, citation management tools are for you. These tools provide a simple way to store, organize and retrieve your citations in an effective manner, and can also help you in formatting in-text citations and bibliographies in your work. This practical workshop briefly introduces the main concepts of citation management and common tools and gives detailed instructions for installing and using Zotero, one of the most popular citation management tools.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to use Zotero to:

- Organize, annotate, rate, and tag references
- Cite and generate bibliographies
- Share references and collaborate with colleagues
