Beeping Dino Egg Hunt In-Person

This event is primarily designed for visually impaired children.  

Date: Saturday, November 4, 2023  

Time: 10:00am to 11:00am 

Location: Earth Sciences Library (Noranda), 5 Bancroft Ave, 2nd floor (here’s a map
There will be signage posted, as well as a library representative directing you indoors to the event. 

In this family-friendly event, caregivers are welcome to bring children to participate in a fun beeping egg hunt, where the children use auditory clues from beeping eggs hidden around the library, and collect them to trade them in for a fun goody bag. In addition, staff will facilitate story time for children to enjoy.  

Once you register, you will be sent an email with further instructions closer to the date of the event. Children are welcome to bring their sibling(s) or a friend along. All attendees are required to register for the event.

Please note:

  • Caregivers are responsible for looking after the children and therefore will need to be present for the entire duration of the event, since library staff will be occupied with facilitating the event.  
  • Spaces are limited and priority will be given to children with visual impairments.
