Telling Accessible Digital Stories Workshop In-Person
This workshop is open to students participating in the Captivate Digital Storytelling Competition, as well as to the UTSC Library Storytelling Fellows.
Captivate ALL audiences by learning how to make your content accessible! In this workshop, you will gain skills to remove access barriers for digital content consumers. You will:
- Identify how to make audio, video and other digital content accessible to more users
- Apply Universal Design for Learning concepts to storytelling content design
- Learn the difference between compliance and culture in relation to accessibility and inclusion
- Access a curated list of resources to support participants when designing content
