Literature searching for grad students: The Basics In-Person
Brand new to searching? Entering an unfamiliar subject area? Just want a reminder of the basics? Then this session is for you. We'll start at the beginning with operationalizing a research question, work through the steps of building a successful search, and evaluate the results.
Through demonstrations and hands-on exercises, you will leave this workshop able to:
- Translate any research question or topic into a successful database search.
- Leverage your search results to find even more relevant sources.
- Locate and download the PDF of any journal article.
