What does “research” mean to you? A consultation series with the University of Toronto Libraries In-Person
What do we talk about when we talk about research?
How does your work as a researcher connect with the University of Toronto Libraries?
The University of Toronto Libraries’ Research Supports Task Force is running a series of focus groups for faculty and graduate students this July, August, and September to help understand how researchers think about their work, how they plan and undertake their research from start to finish, and how they do (or don’t) make use of library-supported services along the way. The goal is to identify gaps in the services the Libraries offer and the ways we communicate what we can do to support your research.
The focus groups will take place in person (with coffee, tea and treats!) at Robarts Library on the St. George Campus, as well as at the University of Toronto Mississauga and University of Toronto Scarborough Libraries, and online via Zoom.
Focus groups will be held on:
July 18, 1-2:30 pm - Robarts Library
July 25, 1-2:30 pm - Robarts Library
August 1, 1-2:30 pm - UTSC Library
August 15, 1-2:30 pm - Robarts Library
August 28, 1-2:30 pm - UTM Library
September 5, 1-2:30 pm - Zoom
We’d be delighted if you could join in the conversation. All faculty members, graduate students, and post-doctoral and research fellows pursuing research at the University of Toronto are welcome.
