GenAI Search Engines for Literature Reviews In-Person
Audience: University of Toronto upper-level undergraduate and graduate students

By the end of this interactive workshop participants will:
- Understand the differences between traditional lexical search and AI search engines
- Describe the ethical, copyright, and environmental concerns associated with use of AI search engines
- Critically evaluate AI search tools and articulate the benefits and pitfalls when including them in your literature reviews
- Practice searching in AI search engines including UTL licensed tools (ScopusAI and Web of Science AI Assistant) and online tools (eg. Consensus, Elicit, the-literature.com, Undermind, Scite.ai, SciSpace)
