Open Educational Resources at UTSC Online

  • What: In this workshop Learners will gain an understanding of common skills necessary to start developing Open Educational Resources. There will also be a showcase of number of tools and resources available to the UofT community. 

  • Why: Open Educational Resources (OER) are designed to make education more equitable by providing free, high-quality educational materials that anyone can use, modify, and share. Using openly licensed content can save educators time in developing lesson plans and save students financially. 

  • Who: This workshop is designed for those who are interested in learning about Open Educational Resources and alternative methods of publishing content.  

  • How: This is a 1 hour online workshop, consisting of a short lecture and then a series of demonstrations, which you can follow along with or just watch. There are no breaks. 

  • Where: Online via Zoom link  

  • When: Tuesday, March 6, 11-12:00pm.
