Experience the Inaugural Collaborative Concert, bringing East Asian music in the contemporary world to life! This special event is a collaboration between the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library and the EAMCW Initiative. The evening features the world premiere of new compositions by Dr. Hippocrates Cheng, Artistic Director and Composer, for East Asian instruments, performed by six talented Toronto-based musicians conducted by Dr. Matthew Poon. Attendees can also enjoy artist conversations during the concert and a pre-concert East Asian music book exhibition.
