Please join us at the University of Toronto Libraries’ Downsview facility as we celebrate an exciting milestone: 4 million volumes preserved!

Since opening in 2005, Downsview has safeguarded millions of items for future generations while advancing shared preservation.

During this special visit, guests will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, including its high-density storage system, unique retrieval technology, and innovative design features such as the super-flat floor that makes preservation at this scale possible.

Coffee and cake will follow. Please dress warmly, as temperatures in the warehouse can be cool.

RSVP: Space is limited. RSVP by Monday, April 27.
