SUMMARY:Introduction to Using MAXQDA for Qualitative Data Analysis: Part 1
DESCRIPTION:\n	What: Learn to use a market-leading\, point-and-click 
 qualitative data management and analysis tool\, MAXQDA\, by performing 
 common tasks\, such as loading in data\, coding\, writing memos\, and 
 exporting. If you want to continue your learning\, you may also want to 
 register for the Introduction to Using MAXQDA for Qualitative Data 
 Analysis: Part 2 workshop that will cover document variables\, analysis\, 
 and visualizations.\n	Why: Learning qualitative data analysis skills and 
 tools will help you organize and participate in qualitative research 
 projects\, gain insights into your data\, communicate your findings\, and 
 stand out in the job market. If you want to explore an excellent 
 alternative to NVivo\, you will want to check this tool out!\n	Software: 
 You will be able to use MAXQDA in the Robarts Library 4th floor computer 
 lab (by October)\, you can obtain a free\, 14-day trial for it\, or 
 purchase a copy for yourself. See our guide to getting MAXQDA for more 
 details.\n	Who: This workshop is designed for those new to MAXQDA. Skills 
 gained can help participants working with qualitative data from any 
 discipline: Humanities\, Social Sciences\, or Sciences. There are no 
 prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge of statistics or 
 programming.\n	When: Thursday\, October 16\, 2025\, 10:30am-12pm\n	Where: 
 Online via Zoom link (provided upon registration)\n	How: This is a 1.5-hour 
 online workshop\, consisting of a short lecture and then a series of 
 demonstrations\, which you can follow along with or just watch\, 
 interspersed with self-paced activities. There are no
