DESCRIPTION:Stop by for this pop-up exhibit of little-seen historical 
 artifacts and images from U of T's historical collections to explore the 
 stories of Toronto women working in astronomy in the first half of the 20th 
 century. \n\nWhat: Get an up-close look at scientific equipment—alongside 
 some more surprising objects—owned and used by U of T researchers\, and 
 learn about the work and lives of Professors Helen Sawyer Hogg\, Ruth 
 Northcott\, and others at the university and beyond who left their mark on 
 astronomy.  \n\nWith Victoria Fisher\, Historian in Residence (David A. 
 Dunlap Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics\, University of 
 Toronto)\n\nWhen:  Wednesday March 11\, 11am-2pm\n\nWhere:  Gerstein
